Don’t make this concussion the main thing in your life, don’t focus on it all the time.

Talk to a psychologist that will help. And don't stay at home all the time, that's not helpful for your mood.

Hi! I am Silvie! 

Hi! I am Silvie, 32 years old and just moved from The Netherlands to Bali (lower expenses and escaping the ratrace;)).

In May 2017, I had a scooter accident, which caused me whiplash and concussion. That day, I went home after the accident, not knowing I’d just walked into a new life.
 

"I was constantly torn between "I can't let this concussion ruin my life" and "I have to listen to my body and rest".
 

I struggled for years to find the right help and understand what was going on with me. The regular doctors I visited couldn't address my symptoms, so I wasn't getting any help from them. I felt misunderstood and lonely during my journey.

After years of struggle, I am back to feeling my old self again (80%).

  • What do I learn?
    You'll learn everything about how to best implement interval training and which cognitive exercises are most beneficial for reducing your symptoms. Both specially designed for individuals with a concussion to achieve maximum results. You gain access to the extensive online environment where you'll learn everything about how to apply interval training and the 15 cognitive exercises. From how often and how long to do the intervals to step-by-step instructions on how to apply each cognitive exercise.
  • How quickly will I see results?
    The frustrating answer is: every concussion is different. I wish I could give you a guarantee, but unfortunately, I can't predict the future. However, I can provide you with all the proven and researched information about the two methods that have resulted in rapid improvement for many. You'll need to take the steps yourself to achieve results. It's really about applying the knowledge I share with you. That being said, we know what we're doing: We've already helped over 500 concussion survivors in these courses to reduce their symptoms. We recommend these two methods because we fully stand behind them given the results achieved. 70% of them reported positive changes in symptoms within the first week or month. People who don't feel it immediately in the first month often experience a clear improvement after this time because recovery sometimes just needs a bit more time.
  • Why this price?
    While I'd love to offer everything for free, creating and maintaining quality online training programs like these 2 Boost Courses demands significant time, effort, and resources. This is my work, and if I were to provide all of this (full-time job) for free, I'd have to find another job, which means waving goodbye to these courses. I spent 10k to acquire this knowledge and to make it more accessible for everyone I've poured my heart and soul into developing comprehensive courses that truly makes a difference for those navigating the challenges of concussion recovery. To ensure the courses remain updated and sustainable, there's a cost associated with accessing it. I collaborate closely with physiotherapists and concussion experts (whose expertise isn't free either) to ensure the knowledge inside this program is correct and up to date. Part of the investment goes there, another part goes back into continually improving the program, while the rest goes toward powering up our tech team and keeping the lights on.   • I find it scary to invest money, is this the right investment?
    Very understandable! Investing in yourself can be scary, especially if you've already tried many things that didn't seem to work. But if you don't invest, nothing will change in your approach, and you won't progress any faster than you are now. Because if you keep doing what you've been doing, you'll keep getting what you've been getting. Believe me, I've been there too. You'll have to take the leap to move forward at some point. The question is, will you do it now, or will you keep postponing it? Just because you're dealing with the symptoms doesn't mean you know what the right thing to do is. Healing from a concussion is a specialized field. It's likely not something you've been trained in yourself, and many doctors also don't know what to do about it. You could focus on 1000 general treatments, but who's to say they'll reduce your concussion symptoms? Often, these treatments only provide temporary relief, a slight improvement, or even do more harm than good. Rather than "just doing something" and overwhelming yourself with countless options that may not apply to your situation, let's prioritize focusing on doing the right thing: two proven and researched methods to achieve faster progress.
  • I've tried many things already, is this a good step?
    It's great that you've already been working on reducing your symptoms! Often, many treatments are very general; they focus on many different conditions, and concussion is somewhere on the list, so they are not specialized in concussions. Also, many treatments have not been researched, so you're essentially just trying things out in the hope that they work. I don't support this approach because it often only costs money, energy, and time. These 2 Boost Courses are the only online resources where you receive this knowledge and support for this price that’s proven, researched, AND specifically focused on concussions. Are you curious about how these courses personally differs for you compared to previous experiences? Feel free to let me know, and I can take a look with you.
  • Why should I choose your courses instead of sessions with a therapist?
    These courses are backed by research and specially designed for people with a concussion to get maximum results. Instead of doing multiple sessions with a physical therapist, you also need to do sessions with a cognitive therapist who specializes in concussions. This program saves you: Time from finding the right therapists who know what they are doing. Money because a single session may already cost more than $50. (Travel) stress, time and energy because you don’t have fixed appointments to travel to over and over again.
  • How can I adapt interval training if I can't exercise yet?
    This was exactly the situation of someone who started the courses a few months ago and found it increasingly challenging to exercise. He started very slowly to ensure it went well and to make sure he felt confident doing the intervals. Often, we tend to push ourselves too hard or not do the right things, causing the body to become more imbalanced. If you make sure to build up gently and get the right push (don't worry; you'll learn that in the courses), progress is definitely possible. The strange thing is, what I see a lot and what my experience was too, normal exercise didn't work, but the intervals (building up slowly) did work. The sessions doesn't have to be long, sometimes 10 minutes, or even less can make a huge difference. Interval training is about increasing your heart rate, and you can choose the exercise that works best for you. It could be swimming, cycling, using a cross-trainer, jumping on a trampoline or even brisk walking —whatever suits you. Some participants in wheelchairs have successfully completed interval training by using their arms.
  • In what format are these courses available?
    These courses are available in video or text format (so you can choose what works best for you). You can also print it (and read the text) or listen to the videos (instead of watching) if screen time bothers you.
  • How much time does these courses take?
    On average, an interval and cognitive session together take 30 minutes each time (so 15 minutes each). We recommend starting with interval training first, and once you've mastered that, you can start with cognitive training. You should do a session at least 2 and up to 5 times per week for the best results. Within the online environment, you can choose to watch all the videos, which takes about 2 hours. Or you can skip this and go straight to the step-by-step guide to start immediately. You don't have to watch all videos to start.
  • When can I start?
    You can start right away after purchasing one or both of the courses. The courses are available on demand, so you have lifetime access and can follow everything at your own pace.
  • Screens are hard for me to handle. What is your advice?
    I totally get it. I had a hard time handling screens as well. That's why I tried to make your recovery easier. Instead of searching for information yourself, I did this for you. I offer all the knowledge you need to know about cognitive exercises and interval training into these courses. I did my best to make them simple and easy to watch. You can listen to most of them or read/print the text. Don't want to watch any videos? That's possible too. For the interval course, there is a 2-page step-by-step guide that you can print and start right away. For the cognitive course, there is also a step-by-step guide that you can print. In this guide, you'll find all 15 cognitive exercises. These exercises aren't computer-based; we use everyday objects like post-it notes, balls, and playing cards, along with printable PDF sheets and audio recordings.
  • Do you give medical advice?
    I don’t give medical advice, everything is based on what I learned from concussion experts (research from Dr. Mark Allen), experiences with other people who followed these exact steps, and my own experience. By remaining in this course, you are accepting that you have read, understood, and agreed to my disclaimer.
  • I didn't sustain a concussion but have another TBI. Can these courses be helpful for me too?
    As many symptoms are similar the courses can also be helpful for people dealing with a stroke, carbon monoxide poisoning, long COVID, or any other traumatic brain injury.   • Do I need to buy anything else to start the courses?
    There are a few things that will help to do the exercises but are all optional. Most of the time we just work with tools we have in our house, so you don’t have to make extra costs. For the interval training, a heart rate monitor can be helpful and a stopwatch. But both are optional if you don’t have the money to purchase one. And for the cognitive course, you need some post-its, a tennis ball or any other thing you can toss and a deck of playing cards. And it might be a good idea to work with a balance board as well for the multitask and balance exercises, but this can also work when you stand on one leg, for example. So not that much is needed to start.
