Hi! I am Silvie! Why I made these courses! 

Hi! I am Silvie, 31 years old and living in The Netherlands. In May 2017, I had a scooter accident, which caused me whiplash and concussion. After struggling and feeling alone for years, I tried many things to move forward.

I struggled for years to find the right help and understand what was going on with me. The regular doctors I visited couldn't address my symptoms, so I wasn't getting any help from them. I felt misunderstood and lonely during my journey, which is exactly why I created these courses and this community. 

There were a few game-changers in my recovery, and I hope these things will help you as much as they did for me.


I translated these game-changers into easy-to-digest courses. I share everything step by step so that you can implement them into your life without getting overwhelmed.

It's my mission to help others, and I don't wish anyone to feel the same way as I did.

For who are these courses?
For concussion survivors who’ve tried many things but are still not moving forward and feel there is more out there.

Are these exercises/courses more psychological therapy or physical/brain function/task therapy?

The exercises are there to improve brain function (physical therapy), not to learn how to deal with your symptoms (psychological therapy). Let's move forward!

When I join The Community Platform, do I also find your courses on the platform of The Concussion Community?

No, you won't find my courses within the online community. Within the community, there are 12 other courses available made by other experts. You will only find my courses as a special separate product here on this page.

Do I have lifetime access to your courses?

Yes, once you buy a course, you will get lifetime access. So don't worry, you can follow the course at your own pace.

Do I need to become a member to follow your courses? 
No, you don't need to become a member to follow the course. It's separate from the platform. But you are more than welcome! The combination of a course with a strong community is very powerful.

What will happen after I purchased your course?

Once you purchase the course, you can start right away. You will get an email in your inbox within 5 minutes (don't forget to check your spam box as well). In this email, you will find a link to the course. All information you need will be in this email.

Can I get a refund when I don't like the course? 

Courses are not eligible for a refund. The only risk you will take is losing a one-time fee. But look at what you can gain. What if the course helps you to move forward? What if it’s a game-changer for your health? Isn't that worth anything?

Are there live sessions during these courses? 

No, everything is recorded, so you can follow the course at your own pace. No stress about the need to show up at a certain time.

Can I give a course as a gift to someone else?

How sweet of you to give a course as a gift! Of course! You can use the email address of the person who the gift is for (it will be sent directly to them) or use your own email address and pass along the email to the specific person. Unfortunately, we do not sell individual gift vouchers.

Can I download the course content?

Unfortunately, that isn't possible. But you will have lifetime access to the online course material.

I don't have the money at this moment...

During my journey, I always felt financial stress; sometimes, I even felt that this was holding me back from recovery. How much money have you already spent on doctors, treatments, tools...? What if you go to your doctor, psychologist, or another therapist every week and pay $55? What if you don't need that anymore after doing this course? And what if you can make the first steps back to work? How much money will come your way? Wouldn't this all be a reason to try it? You have so much more to gain than to lose, right?

I don't have time or energy for this...

How much time and energy do you save if you can stop running from appointment to appointment? Not being sent by your doctor from pillar to post? Or what if you don't need to spend your time planning your day anymore? What if you can live a more spontaneous life? What if you don't need your daily nap anymore because you could improve your sleep? Won’t this all save you time and energy?

Screens are hard for me to handle. What is your advice?

I totally get it. I had a hard time handling screens as well. That's why I tried to make your recovery easier. Instead of searching for information yourself, I did this for you. I offer all the knowledge you need to know about cognitive exercises into this course. I did my best to make them simple and easy to watch. Tip: You can listen to most of them as well.

Do I need someone else to do the exercises with?

No, you can do every exercise yourself. I am your partner and will guide you by using videos and audio recordings. If you prefer to do the exercises with a partner, that's possible as well.

Do you give medical advice?

In my courses, I don't give medical advice. I share what helped me in my recovery and many other concussion survivors as well. If you have any doubts, please consult with your physician or other healthcare professional before beginning this or any other program to ensure it is appropriate for your needs. It is not a substitute for, nor does it replace professional medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment.

What do I need to start with the 5-week cognitive exercise course?

There are a few things you need to do all exercises:

- Post-its

- A tennis ball (or any other ball)

- A balance board (optional, we can also do the exercise by standing on one leg). I have this one: Click here
- A deck of playing cards

What do I need to start with the 7-day interval course?

In order to do the interval training, it would be great if you arrange the following things:
- Your gym outfit
- Your motivation ;)

- Optional: a heart rate monitor. I have this one: click here.  
- Optional: a stopwatch (which is on your phone)
